The chassis can outlast several wear components if the battery, blades, wheels, motors, seals, and charging hardware remain serviceable. That makes parts support at least as important as the original specification sheet.

Where buyers get tripped up

A technically functional mower can become uneconomic if a proprietary electronic module, wheel motor, or battery is unavailable. Newer brands may offer strong specifications but have less evidence about long-term parts continuity.

How to make the decision

Treat serviceability as a purchase criterion. Prefer products with clear warranty terms, published replacement parts, documented winter storage, and a support path that does not require shipping a heavy machine internationally.
