Disconnected lawns are one of the clearest cases where software capability can be confused with physical autonomy. A mower may store many zones but still need human transport between areas with no traversable path.
The practical answer
If each lawn can be connected by a safe mapped route, the property is not truly disconnected from the mower’s perspective. If there is no route, the machine must be carried or a different system used.
The constraint that matters most
Manual relocation creates charging and schedule complications, especially if the mower expects to return to one dock automatically. Some products handle secondary areas more gracefully than others.
How to set the mower up for it
Decide whether manual transport is acceptable before purchase. For frequent mowing across truly separate lawns, two smaller machines can sometimes preserve more automation than one premium mower that must be moved by hand.
