CFM tells you how much air moves; MPH tells you how fast it moves. Real cleanup performance depends on both, plus nozzle design, weight, runtime, and whether the battery is useful across other yard tools.
Do not shop by MPH alone
A very fast narrow air stream is not automatically better than high-volume airflow for moving broad piles of leaves.
Battery platform can dominate long-term value
If you already own batteries from a mower, trimmer, or chainsaw platform, staying inside that ecosystem can save more than a small performance difference between blowers.
